Hey y’all! I know I’m a little late with the readings this week (hence the shortened dates). I was out of town and was having a tough day yesterday. I feel it’s super important to be sure that I am ready to receive messages and interpret them clearly for you, and so I want to always be sure that I am in the right space physically, emotionally and mentally. In order to be in that flow, sometimes we have to wait, so I honored that this week. Thank you for your understanding! And now, onto the messages for this week…
What is for you is for you. Do not be distracted by the path of others. It is easy, especially in this social media age, to be wrapped up in the journey and successes of those around you. In so doing, you can begin to unravel your own path. Owo Foro Adobe teaches us that in order to make the treacherous climb, it requires persistence and prudence. Mako reminds us that patience is the third “p”. You are on your own glorious pathway that has been uniquely made and suited for you at this very time and place. Everything has conspired perfectly to create your challenges and your triumphs. Do not be distracted by what anyone else has going on. Even if they have a similar dream or are in the same field, their path and success is not yours to fear, be jealous of or try to copy. Pay attention to your own road. Kerry Washington shared a story where she spoke about her yoga instructor telling her to stop her headstand one day. I’m paraphrasing, but she basically said, “Keep your eyes on your own mat or you will literally break your neck.” There is danger in not being attentive to what lies before you in the interest of comparing yourself to others. Don’t let distraction cause you to break your own neck. Be persistent, be cautious and understand and BELIEVE that when it is your time to bloom, it will be glorious.
